Virginia Alexander Obituary
Virginia Inez Alexander was born March 9, 1931 in Dyer County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Clarence Luther "Jack" Kimbrell and Pearl Powers Kimbrell.
She departed this life in Dyersburg, Tennessee on November 13, 2020 at the age of 89 years.
Virginia worked at the Brown Shoe Company in Caruthersville for many years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and getting out shopping with her sisters.
Survived by - 1 son - Charles Alexander and his wife, Kathy - Caruthersville, MO
2 sisters - Rosetta Fortner - Dyersburg, TN
3 sisters-in-law - Sue Kimbrell - Caruthersville, MO
1 granddaughter - Tonia Vandewaal - Caruthersville, MO
1 great granddaughter - Erika Vandewaal - Caruthersville, MO
A number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents - Jack and Pearl KImbrell, her daughter - Charlotte Alexander Bruce, 3 brothers - R.P. Kimbrell, Luther Kimbrell, Herman Kimbrell.
Graveside services were held Nov. 17 at 3:00 p.m. in Maple Cemetery.
H.S. Smith Funeral Home in charge of services.
