Vicki Atkinson Thompson was born November 11, 1968, in Blytheville, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Russell Edward Atkinson and Jacqueline Rochelle McCoy Atkinson.
She departed this life in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on January 25, 2022. She was 53 years old.
Vicki graduated from Cooter High School and then went to Mississippi County Community College where she received her Registered Nurse degree.
Vicki was a true care giver which made her such a successful nurse. She worked at Southgate Living Center, VNA, Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR and lately at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Resolutions.
Vicki loved her family which also included her two dogs - Oreo and Marmalade.
She is survived by one daughter: Dana Tomlinson of Steele, Missouri; one son: Stacy Thompson, Jr. of Caruthersville, Missouri; one step sister: Michelle Lanier, who was also her best friend; aunt: Janie Walters of Blytheville, Arkansas; cousin: Toni Johnson of Paragould, Arkansas; two grandchildren: Hunter & Annalisa Tomlinson of Steele, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 infant babies.
