Tena Denise McCoy Dorroh

Tena Denise McCoy Dorroh was born on the 31st day of March 1962, to Alton Lee McCoy and Marjorie Juanita McCoy.

She was baptized into our Lord Jesus Christ and was a dedicated member of the Central Church of Christ in Caruthersville.

Tena was joined in holy matrimony to Lawrence Gerard Dorroh on the 23rd day of July 1983. Within this union, they joyfully welcomed their daughter Svetlana Alexandria Dorroh to their family.

She was an exceptional schoolteacher in the Caruthersville elementary school for several years where she touched the lives of many students.

Tena departed this world on the 17th day of November 2022, at her home in Caruthersville, Missouri, in the hope of joining her father Alton in God's Eternal Kingdom.

Tena is survived by her husband: Lawrence; her daughter: Svetlana; her mother: Nita; her sister: Ginger Kelsey; her mother-in-law: Elizabeth Dorroh; her brothers and sisters-in-law: Charles & Glenda Dorroh, James & Marilyn Dorroh, Jim & Cynthia Hodge, and Richard & Debbie Dorroh. Tena is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Stuart, Ginna, Jimmy, Christopher, Caroline, Scott, Ginny, Lauren, Gray, Chase, Matthew, Justin, Will and their families; her uncles and aunts: Gerald & Barbara Bryant and Larry & Betty Malone, together with her many beloved cousins on both the McCoy and Malone side of her family; and many more beloved family members and friends.
