Steven Scott Burnett was born December 19, 1961 in Hayti, Missouri. He was the son of the late Harold Burnett, Jr. and Mary Etta Ashley Burnett.
He departed this life at his home in Caruthersville, Missouri on December 1, 2018. He was 56 years old.
Steve was a mechanic that could fix just about anything that had an engine-cars, trucks, 4 wheelers. When he would end his day of work he would then come home and start puttering around fixing things in his shop. He loved watching westerns on T.V. His favorite thing to do was to hang out with his family and enjoy the simple things in life.
Survived by - 3 children - Christa (Aaron) Gunnels - Royal, Arkansas
7 grandchildren
2 special nieces - Jessica and Joetta Burnett
Other relatives and many friends
He was preceded in death by his parent, a sister - Fonda Burnett, and a son - Aaron Burnett.
Memorial services were held December 6 at 2:00 in the H.S. Smith Chapel with Rev. Kenny Lee officiating.
