Shirley Cobb Obituary
Shirley Evadene Cobb was born August 4, 1939, in Caruthersville, Missouri. She was the daughter of Otwon Cobb & Mildred Fay Dooley Cobb.
She departed this life November 29, 2021, in Memphis, Tennessee. She was 82 years old.
Shirley graduated from Caruthersville High School with the class of 1957. She then attended Lee College.
Shirley was truly a lady that enjoyed life. She loved to travel. She sang in the choir at the First Assembly of God Church in Memphis.
Animals were one of her passions. Her dog, Luke, will truly miss her. Her greatest passion was her family. Including her great great nephews.
She is survived by two nieces: Connie Fullhart (David) of Jackson, Missouri, and Monica Turnbow (Greg) of Sikeston, Missouri; two nephews: Harold Treece (Donna) of Ozark, Missouri, and Chris Cobb (Tracy) of Caruthersville, Missouri; and other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jerry Cobb, and a sister, Connie Treece.
Funeral services were held December 18th, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Caruthersville Church of God. Interment followed in Little Prairie Cemetery. H. S. Smith Funeral Home in charge of services.
