Sandra Kay Shaw

Sandra Kay Shaw was born February 6, 1953, in Hayti, Missouri. She was the daughter of Henry Lois Jones and Mildred Austell Roberts Jones.

She departed this life on February 6, 2021, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was 68 years old.

Sandy graduated from Caruthersville High School with the class of 1971.

On April 12, 1975, in Caruthersville, Missouri she was united in marriage to Mike Shaw. They renewed their vows at the Sacred Heart Church in Caruthersville.

Sandy was a very social person. She loved interacting with friends and family not only in person but also though social media. She also enjoyed doing craft work including quilts.

She was a member of the Bakerville church of Christ.

Survived by - her husband - Mike Shaw - Caruthersville, Missouri

4 children - Kristin Pullam - Portageville, Missouri

And a special adopted son - Juan Johnson - Delaware

2 sisters - Pam Palmer - Hayti, Missouri

1 brother - Charles Jones - Freeport, Florida

7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 on the way

Many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers - Henry Kenneth Jones, and Roy Glenn Jones

Funeral services were held Feb. 10, 2021, at 1:00 in the H.S. Smith Chapel with Brother Don Reel officiating. Interment in Maple Cemetery.
