Sandra Renee Hopkins was born in the state of Arkansas on January 11, 1960.
She departed this life in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, on April 23, 2021 at the age of 60.
She was the daughter of the late Jessie Hopkins & Artie Sue Gillard Hopkins.
Sandra found Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, where she was also a member.
She was a graduate of Caruthersville High School.
Sandra enjoyed people and life itself. She also enjoyed partying, cooking and loved her some Reggie and Clint.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Katherine Hopkins.
Sandra leaves behind her two sons, Reggie Hopkins of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Clint Hopkins of Kennett, Missouri; four sisters, Janice and Doris of Caruthersville, Missouri; Opal of Oklahoma and Tinicka of Kansas City, Missouri; three brothers, Jessie, Jr., of Oklahoma, Deon of Ohio and Ray of Sikeston, Missouri; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
Funeral services were held on Friday, April 30, 2021, at 12:00 PM at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Caruthersville, Missouri with Minister Jessica Pruitt Rose officiating. H.S. Smith Funeral Home was in charge of the services.
