Ruby Jones Obituary

Ruby Young Jones was born November 14, 1932, in Fruitland, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Bert and Maudie Young.

She departed this life in Caruthersville, Missouri on April 26, 2021, at Southgate Living Center. She was 88 years old.

On January 31, 1955 in Hernando, Mississippi, she was united in marriage to Troma Jones. They celebrated 66 years of marriage.

Ruby, affectionately called Beck or Becky, by her friends and family, loved being a mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a Christian lady, an excellent cook, and very generous of her time to anyone in need. She taught her three daughters, at an early age, to always be compassionate and charitable.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory

6 grandchildren - Natalie Bradley, Ben Bradley, John Pampuro, Ginny Pampuro Acosta, and her husband, Corey, Jones Hayden and his wife, Elaine, Will Hayden and his wife, Chelsea.

Many other relatives in Gibson County and Crockett County Tennessee and many, many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents - Bert Young, Maudie Griggs Young, 2 brothers - Albert and Wesley and a sister - Florence

The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials please be given to the Caruthersville Public Library (707 W. 13th St. Caruthersville, MO 63830) or Paragould Children's Home ( 5515 Walcot Rd. Paragould, AR 72450)

Graveside services were held April 28, 2021, at 11:00 at Pemiscot Memorial Gardens with Brother Dave Lewelling officiating.
