Ronnie Jones Obituary
Ronnie Allen Jones was born December 4, 1948, in Caruthersville, Missouri. He was the son of Clyde Alfred Jones & Mary Willie Vaughn Jones.
He departed this life in Hayti, Missouri on September 21, 2021, at the age of 72.
Ronnie loved growing up in Caruthersville. He enjoyed his childhood, especially playing with all the neighborhood kids. He played Little League and Pony League baseball. That love of playing baseball turned him into a loyal St. Louis Cardinal fan.
He attended the Caruthersville Schools, graduating in the High School Class of 1966.
On May 10, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee he enlisted in the United States Army. He received his Honorable Discharge on May 7, 1971. He was a Vietnam Veteran.
He worked with his dad in the family taxi business.

He was preceded in death by his parents - Clyde and Mary Jones, 1 brother - Clyde Jones, Jr, a sister-in-law - Nita Jones, and brother-in-law - Ted Brown.
Memorial services were held September 25, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. in the H.S. Smith Chapel with Rev. Kenny Lee officiating.
Interment in Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville, Missouri.
