Rodney Ronald Heathcock

Rodney Ronald Heathcock was born in Hayti, Missouri, on November 4, 1964.  He was the son of James Heathcock and Ora Cox Heathcock.

He departed this life in Hayti, Missouri, on February 3, 2024.  He was 59 years old.

Rodney enjoyed life.  He loved doing all types of yard work including mowing and mulching. 

Rodney loved spending time with family and friends but he was at his best with kids.  He was a kid “magnet.”  He loved them and they loved him.  You never saw Rodney without a smile on his face.

He is survived by one daughter: Briana Heathcock; five siblings: Donald Heathcock, Betty Ann Hatley, Rebecca Bailey, Jenny Sieg, & James Michael Heathcock; one grandchild; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held Friday, February 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in Maple Cemetery.
