Robert William Scott, Sr. was born August 9, 1950 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was the son of Joseph William Scott and Joanne Vaughn.
After attending Tech High School in Memphis, Tennessee, he joined the United States Army and proudly served his country. He was stationed in Germany during part of his service. He received a National Defense Service Medal and achieved Marksman Rifle M-16
Robert enjoyed playing and singing country music. He played both the guitar and banjo. He was known for his carpenter skills particularly building cabinets. He also was a coin collector.

5 sisters - Jenny Sanchez, Beverly Daugherty, Carolyn Beloate, Wanda Gaylor, Betty Simmons
17 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 son - Joe Bill Scott.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 9 at 2:00 p.m. at Tucker Street Church with Rev. Kenny Lee officiating. Interment in Maple Cemetery in Caruthersville, Missouri.
