Robert Palmer Obituary

Robert Edward (Bob) Palmer was born March 16, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the son of Dennis Ethridge Palmer and Marie Palmer.

He departed this life at his home in Dyersburg, Tennessee on May 14, 2018. He was 69 years old.

Bob was united in marriage in Marshall, Missouri on June 14, 1985 to Donna DeClue.

Bob was a hard worker. He was currently working for the Dyersburg Police as a part of the Traffic/Safety Patrol. You would see him every day helping to direct the school traffic. He also had worked at World Color and Hastings. Bob came to Dyersburg with the Golden Corral Corporation working as part of the cooking team.

He had many hobbies that he enjoyed-collecting Santa Clauses, playing and coaching softball, shooting pool, and reading autobiographies. He also was a Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed professional wrestling.

Bob was a very active and faithful member of Tucker Street Church where he also served as a deacon.

Survived by - his wife - Donna Palmer - Dyersburg, TN

1 son - Dennis Palmer (Sherry) - Dixon, MO

2 sisters - Sue and Holly, 6 grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.

Memorial services will be held May 17 at 10:00 a.m. at Tucker Street Church with Pastor Ben Smith and Father Gary Meade officiating.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be given to Tucker Street Church or Matthew 25:40.
