Robert Wayne Hundhausen was born at Cottonwood Point, Missouri, on January 6, 1937. He was the son of Albert Robert Hundhausen and Louise Norwood Hundhausen.
He departed this life in Caruthersville, Missouri, on August 4, 2025. He was 88 years old.
After graduating from high school, Robert joined the United States Air Force. He proudly served his country before receiving his honorable discharge at Larson Air Force Base in Washington. During his time of service, he was a parachute rigger. He received a good conduct medal.
On August 26, 2002, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was united in marriage to Vickie Vaughn.
Robert loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, riding horses and going deer hunting. Almost every evening you would find him taking a ride on the side by side along the levee. His greatest pleasure was being able to share time and stories with his family.
He is survived by his wife: Vickie Hundhausen; five children: Maurice Hundhausen, Angela Hundhausen, Ashley Lannen, Robin Granger, and Shawn Hundhausen; four step-children: Tabetha Dailey, Melissa Rye, Phillip Weber-Glover, and Nathan Weber; three sisters: Janice Austin, Sandy Fjerstad, and Karen Moore; and a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.
