Robert Graham Cardwell was born December 29, 1928 in Charleston, Missouri. He was the son of the late Robert Chester Cardwell and Minerva Lucinda Graham Cardwell.
He departed this life in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on March 12, 2019. He was 90 years old.
Robert was united in marriage of Donna Bailey on September 15, 1963 in Cairo, Illinois.
He was a man that loved life and enjoyed many hobbies such as flying kites, playing scrabble, and growing roses. He very much enjoyed his coffee and visiting with friends. Robert was known for being a man that believed in the benefits of walking and encouraged others to walk.
He was a very active member of the Salvation Army and sold War Cries for over 50 years.

2 daughters - Jackie Fluegge and her husband, Marty - Cape Girardeau, MO
3 sisters - Jan Fry, Sharon Frazer, Margaret Johnson
1 brother - Bruce Cardwell
3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, extended family members and many friends.
