Richard Hurbert (Junior) McCall was born June 14, 1937, in Selmer, Tennessee. He was the son of Richard Hurbert & Early McCall.
He departed this life on Sept 26, 2021, in Caruthersville, Missouri. He was 84 years old.
On June 16, 1962, at Kinsfolks Ridge Baptist Church, he was united in marriage to Gladys Virginia Sides. She preceded him in death.
Junior lived life big. He loved giving big strong bear hugs and firm handshakes. He was known as Lonely Boy on the CB radio which he loved talking on and listening to. He could usually be found outside his house by the shed enjoying a beer and talking. He also would spend time there working on lawnmowers and chainsaws.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a son - Steve McCall and 8 siblings.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 11:00 AM in the H. S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville, Missouri, with Rev. Kenny Lee officiating. H. S. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
