Richard Land Obituary

Richard Lee "Rick" Land was born in Electra, Texas on April 14, 1945. He was the son of Richard Land and Frances Homme Land.

He departed this life in Blytheville, Arkansas on November 24, 2020. He was 75 years old.

Rick proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Army. After his honorable discharge, he then enlisted in the United States Air Force and served in Thailand.

Rick was a proud graduate of Mississippi State University.

On July 27, 2007, in Batesville, Arkansas, he was united in marriage to Carla Johnson.

Rick worked as the CFO of Prodentic Company and Life Plus Company.

Rick loved traveling. He has visited all seven continents, all 50 states, almost all the Canadian providences, and 88 foreign countries.

He also was an avid reader. He loved Mississippi State sports and the Washington Redskins.

Survived by - his wife - Carla Land

4 sons - Richard Land and his wife, Terri - Georgia

1 sister - Karen Boyd and her husband, Lindley - Mississippi

1 brother - Greg Land and Pam Arnold - Mississippi

5 grandchildren - Bradley, Jackson, Tyler, Emily and Payton

Nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends

He was preceded in death by his parents - Richard and Frances Land

Graveside services were held Nov. 28, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Maple Cemetery in Caruthersville, Missouri.
