Rebecca Ann Morgan was born December 15, 1952, in Hayti, Missouri. She was the daughter of William Parker Morgan and Mary Ernestine Medlin Morgan.
She departed this life at her home in Caruthersville, Missouri, on September 29, 2025. She was 72 years old.
Rebecca was a graduate of Hayti High School.
Rebecca was a very proud and very involved mother and grandmother. She loved being able to play games with her kids and grandkids.
She was known for her generous spirit that often meant sharing one of the many desserts that she was famous for making.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Church.
She is survived by one daughter: Theresa Morgan of Edmond, Oklahoma; one son: Nathan Morgan and his wife, Kristin, of Paragould, Arkansas; one sister: Linda Burnett of Caruthersville, Missouri; two brothers: Parker Morgan of Springfield, Missouri, and Jimmie Morgan and his wife, Denise, of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two grandchildren: Kate Morgan and Derrick Morgan; and many other relatives and many friends.
Funeral mass will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caruthersville, Missouri, with Father Suresh Samala officiating. Interment to follow in Little Prairie Cemetery.
The family request that in lie of flowers, memorials be given to Caruthersville Humane Society, or the Dyersburg Humane Society.
