Ray Williams Obituary

Ray Williams was born on April 2, 1948 in Lilbourn, Missouri to Elzie Hall and Will Hall. He graduated from Missouri High School in 1966. He was a member of Divine Key Ministry the Church of Christ Divine under Bishop Coleman. Ray worked for Army Corps of Engineers as a Deckhand. He was employed for 38 years.

He departed this life on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at the West Tennessee Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee. He leaves to cherish his memories – one sister, Lula Williams, two daughters Michelle Johnson of Greenville, MS, Kimberly Tate of St. Louis, MO and one son of St. Louis, MO. He also leaves several grandchildren, great children, several other relatives and many, many friends. Ray leaves one best friend of 45 years Barbara Loggins as well. His children remember him as a kind, gentle, patient and driven father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Funeral services held Saturday, June 20 at 1:00 p.m. with Bishop Danny Coleman officiating. Interment in Morgan Ridge Cemetery.
