Ralph Viar Obituary
Ralph Edward Viar was born November 16, 1938, in Dyer County, Tennessee. He was the son of Samuel and Martha Viar.
He departed this life on October 17, 2021, in Caruthersville, Missouri. He was 82 years old.
On May 7, 1965, in Caruthersville, Missouri he was united in marriage to Sherry Lavelle.
Ralph enjoyed woodworking projects. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing especially when he could take his grandson with him.
Ralph was very proud of the fact that after the death of his son, Donnie's friends remained close to him and Sherry.
He is survived by his wife: Sherry Viar of Caruthersville, MO; his grandson: Preston Viar (Ashley) of Portageville, MO; brother-in-law: Bill Langer of Fair Play, SC; nephews: Brian Burch of Caruthersville, MO, & Shane Burch of Caruthersville, MO; nieces: Keli Burch of Caruthersville, MO, Julie Antill (Bob) and their sons, Matt and Cody, of Cape Girardeau, MO, & Debbie Caudle of Steele, MO; and other relatives & friends.
He was preceded in death by his son: Donnie Viar; his parents: Samuel & Martha Viar; nine siblings; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Wayne & Judy Burch; and brother-in-law: Frankie Lavelle.
Funeral services were held October 20th, 2022, with Brother Jim Pilcher officiating.
