Phillip Curtis Renfroe was born in Caruthersville, Missouri, on January 24, 1952. He was the son of Curtis Cecil Renfroe and Savannah Knight Renfroe.
He departed this life in Caruthersville, Missouri, on August 4, 2024. He was 72 years old.
Phillip graduated from Caruthersville High School and then enlisted in the United States Army. He proudly served his country in the 101st Airborne Division (The Screaming Eagles).
Phillip is survived by his previous wife (Rhonda Bartlett) and their son - Richard Curtis Renfroe; his current wife: Cynthia Wimberly Renfroe and their son - Christopher Brent Renfroe; four stepsons: Timothy White, Matthew Pendergrass, Lance Pendergrass, & Justin Wimberly; a brother: Christopher B. Renfroe (wife Carla) and child Crystal Renfroe Frank and her children Briley and Parker; a sister: Cheryl Becnel Orfanos (husband Mark) and her children - Savannah and Simone Becnel; a niece: Rhonda Ruth Duckworth (husband Blake) and their children - Ashlee (and children), Brooke and Dawson; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister - Glenda Ruth Finley (mother to Rhonda).
Phillip was a very generous person. He was always willing to help other people and would never pass judgment on them. He dearly loved his family, and his family will miss him terribly.
