Pauline Starkey (Atkins) Vinson

Pauline Starkey Vinson was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on October 28, 1961.  She was the daughter of Nathaniel Starkey and Margaret Atkins Lindsey.

She departed this life in Hayti, Missouri, on May 22, 2025.  She was 63 years old.

Pauline had a passion for drawing.   She entered several contests and walked away with prizes.  She enjoyed coloring her drawings.  She enjoyed writing poetry also. 

Pauline enjoyed watching old movies on television.  Shirley Temple was one of her favorites.  She enjoyed country music particularly Loretta Lynn.

She is survived by two daughters: Rita Prater and Alexandra Starkey; a brother: Paul Starkey; a sister: Rebecca Hopper; six grandchildren; and other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister – Donna Brodie, and a brother – Donald Lindsey, Jr.
