Noel Dudley Obituary
Was born in Braggadocio, Missouri on October 31, 1935.
Departed this life at his home in Braggadocio on April 22, 2019 at the age of 83.
He was the son of the late Russell Warrington Dudley & Cassie B. Walton Dudley.
Attended the Braggadocio schools and also two years of college at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
On March 1, 1958 in Braggadocio he was united in marriage to Norma Louise Lafferty. They recently celebrated their 61 year anniversary.
Mr. Dudley was inducted into the U.S. Army in St. Louis, Missouri on September 11, 1958. He served two years and then transferred to the U.S. Army Reserves.
He was a longtime member of the Braggadocio Baptist Church where he served as a former deacon and the only deacon at the church.
Mr. Dudley was up every morning at 4:00 AM reading his bible and praying. He also enjoyed working in the yard and on lawnmowers. He was very passionate about his job as a civil engineer with the Corps of Engineers where he worked for 40 years until his retirement on January 3, 1994.

His wife of 61 years, Norma Dudley, of Braggadocio.
2 Sons – Noel Louis Dudley, his wife, Martha Kay and his children, Nathaniel, Sunni , Cody, Candice and Landon

1 Daughter - Tracey Grooms, her husband, Bruce and her children, Deric and Hannah.
7 Grandchildren, who were mentioned above, along with 6 Great Grandchildren, Tristen Dudley, Leah Novak, Bailey Alexander, Avery Alexander, Nixon Tseng and Kitanna Novak.
1 Brother - Russell W. Dudley - Trenton, Tennessee
1 Brother in law – Damon Johnson of Braggadocio.
& a number of other relatives and many, many friends. He was also preceded in death by 1 Brother, Joe Dudley, 2 Sisters, Nona McDaniel & Cassie M. Dudley, 1 great grandchild, Adrian Trinity Morgan and daughter in law, Mechi Dudley.
