Mary Etta Burnett was born August 11, 1944 in East Prairie, MO. She was the daughter of Aaron and Gladys Ashley.
Mary departed this life at her home in Caruthersville, MO on February 23, 2018. She was 73 years old.
Mary enjoyed life. She loved to shop, particularly for shoes, and when she could find them at a bargain price it was even better. She was known as the family matriarch and took care of no just her children and grandchildren but also many other family members and friends. She also took very good care of and loved her dog "Snow." If you couldn't find Mary at home she was probably down at the gambling boat.
Survived by - 1 son - Steven Scott Burnett- Caruthersville, MO
5 grandchildren - Christa, Joetta, Taylor, Jessica, and Samantha
12 great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband - Harold Burnett, a daughter - Fonda Burnett, a grandson - Aaron Scott Burnett and a granddaughter - Jennifer Nicole Burnett.
Memorial services were held Thursday, March 01, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Kenny Lee officiaiting.
