LESBIE C. UTLEY
Was born in Collinwood, Tennessee on February 20, 1933.
Departed this life at her home in Caruthersville, Missouri on April 9, 2021 at the age of 88.
She was the daughter of the late Spencer Reaves & Lola Farris Reaves.
Lesbie loved to cook, especially for her family. She worked at Morgan's Supper Club for many years. She also enjoyed watching old westerns, crocheting and caring for her house plants. Lesbie was known for having a green thumb. But, above all, she enjoyed being with all of her family, especially the grandkids.
She was a longtime member of the Church of God in Caruthersville.
SURVIVED BY -
1 Son – Larry Utley and his wife, Jackie, of West Plains, Missouri
2 Daughters – Janet Herrington and her husband, Marty, of Caruthersville.
Robbie Buck and her husband, Kent, of Risco, Missouri
8 Grandchildren –
Shane Utley, Beth Meales, David Utley, Kaitlin Brantley, Houston Buck, Kelsey Brantley, Kaylie Meales and Amy Herrington.
8 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great, Great Grandson on the way.
& a number of other relatives and many, many friends.
She was preceded in death by 1 Son, Alvin Utley; (1984) Daughter, Diane Griffin; (2020) 1 Sister, Katherine Cummings, and 1 Brother, Eugene Reeves.
Funeral services were held April 12 at 2:00 with Rev. Jon Haywood at the Church of God. Interment in Little Prairie Cemetery.
