Kohnali Albert Hunt was born April 18, 2006, in Hayti, Missouri, at Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems to Victoria Natasha Hunt Woods and David Clay, Jr.
Kohnali had plans for his life. He was fun, laid back, and respectful.
Kohnali was a hard working young man that was employed at Burger King. He had been employed there for over a year. He will be remembered for his lively and animated sense of humor. Kohnali had the unique ability to add fun to any situation. He was very funny and kept his family and friends laughing. When he wasn't working, he spent most of his time at home. When his stepfather, Cleve Woods, passed away Kohnali stepped up to be the man of the house. He prioritized the needs of others by mentoring his younger brothers to make sure they stayed on the right path. Kohnali was also there to help support his mother and sister during difficult times. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing GTA and talking mess, and spending time with his family, and friends. He will be truly missed by his loved ones.
He is the grandson of Marilyn Hunt and the late Bruce Robinson & David and Norma Clay, Sr.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his mother: Victoria Natasha Hunt Woods; his father: David Clay, Jr.; his sister: Heaven Spain; his brothers: Kingston Woods, Bailey Woods, and Davion Turner; his aunts: Angela Hunt, Cynthia (Leonard) Safford, Shanna Hunt, Dawnikia Hunt, and Tasha Clay; his uncles: Latron Clay, Dave Smith, and David Gunn; and a host of cousins, family and friends.
Kohnali was preceded in death by his great grandmothers – Victoria Harris Hunt and Quillar Mae Ruff Robinson, his grandfather – Bruce Robinson, his stepfather – Cleve Woods, his uncle – John (Nay) Nelson, his great uncles – Charles Harris, Albert Adrian Hunt, and Kohn Ali Hunt.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Divine Holiness Church in Caruthersville, Missouri, with Pastor Jamie Jones officiating. Interment to follow in Morgan Ridge Cemetery.
