Justice Marie Rogers was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on May 30, 2015. She was the daughter of Jamie Lee Rogers and Allison Renee Boone.
She departed this life at her home in Cooter, Missouri, on October 27, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was 9 years old.
Justice was a light-up the room kind of girl. She loved singing and dancing, going on Disney cruises, hunting rocks, riding the 4-wheeler, and going fishing.
She loved going to work with her mother. Her cat, Midnight, loved her and she loved it. Chicken nuggets from McDonalds or Zaxby’s was her favorite food. Penguins were her favorite animals.
Justice was a 2nd grader at Cooter School.
She is survived by her mother and step-father: Allison and Scott Boone; her father: Jamie Rogers and bonus mother, Kayla Rogers; four siblings: Eriq Key, Coby Pierce, Billy Rogers, and Emma Rogers; great grandparents: Bill & Susan Townsend and Shirley Decenso; grandparents: Charles Davis, Christina & Bobby Askue, Lee & Joyce Rogers, Greg & Karen Boone; two best friends: Dahlia Carlene (Baby D) Hendricks and London Michelle Lacey; and many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by great grandparents - Richard & Caroline Davis and Lula Mae Jackson, her uncle - Ward Christian Davis, a great uncle - Billy Henry, and a great aunt - Emener Driskill.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church in Caruthersville, Missouri, with Reverend Carl Knapp officiating.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the H.S. Smith Funeral Chapel.
Serving as pall bearers: James Wells, Jonathan Boone, Zach Ayers, Jeremy Harmon, Richard Harmon, Roger Henry, Timothy Hilburn and Daniel Wheeler; Honorary pall bearers: Rodney Hendricks and Ward Davis
H.S. Smith Funeral Home in charge of services.
The family request memorials be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Justice’s name.
