Jon Kelly Johnson was born June 14, 1971, in Hayti, Missouri. He was the son of Donald Van Johnson and Carolyn Willis Johnson.
He departed this life in Gonzales, LA, on August 25, 2021. He was 50 years old.
Jon enjoyed being outside. He worked in the landscaping business.
LSU football was a passion. He was looking forward to attending games with his son Chris.
He is survived by his mother: Carolyn Johnson; two children: Raelynn Johnson & Chris Moore; a brother: Donald Van Johnson, Jr.; two sisters: Lisa Johnson & Vanessa St. Amant; the mother of his daughter: Barbara; and other relatives, including aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Van Johnson, Sr.
Graveside services were held on August 30, 2021, in Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville, Missouri, with Brother Jim Pilcher officiating.
H. S. Smith Funeral Home in charge of services.
