Jerrie Allene Hooper

Jerrie Allene Hooper was born in Hayti, Missouri, on August 7, 1975.  She was the daughter of Jerry Allen Hooper and Martha Ellen Logan Hooper.

She departed this life in Kennett, Missouri, on December 4, 2024.  She was 49 years old.

Jerrie was a lady that loved life.  She had a wonderful sense of humor – always smiling and laughing.  She loved listening to music, being outside, playing X box, and making jewelry.  She enjoyed being in the kitchen, with meat loaf and punch bowl cranberry salad as her two specialties.  Her greatest love in life was her family.

She is survived by her siblings: Linda Faye Long, Larry Joe Sheckell, Frank Allen Hooper, and Cindy Mae Deaton; her best friend and cousin: Leighann Bargett; several special nieces and nephews: Stephanie Sheckell, Tesia Branham, Tonya Hooper, Joey Welch, Jonathan Hooper, Kelsey Deaton and Jacob Christian Birmingham; and other nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents – Jerry and Martha Hooper, and three siblings – Tonya Danielle Hooper, Jerry Allen Hooper, Jr., and Bobby Jo Hooper.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the H.S. Smith Funeral Chapel in Caruthersville, Missouri.
