Jennifer Anell Turpen-Smith

Jennifer Anell Turpen-Smith was born in Hayti, Missouri, on June 14, 1972.  She was the daughter of Tommy Wayne Turpen and Betty Cherry Turpen.

She departed this life in St. Louis, Missouri, on November 27, 2023.  She was 51 years old.

Jennifer enjoyed going on walks and visiting the river.  She loved animals but family was most important in her life. Her very favorite hobby was babysitting her grandchildren.

She attended Jesus Name Tabernacle.

She is survived by her mother: Betty Turpen; two children: Carrie Smith & Brent Smith; four sisters: Carolyn, Jerolyn, Becky, & Lisa; two grandchildren; and many other relatives including nieces and nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be given to the H.S. Smith Funeral Home to help with final expenses.

Services will be held at a later date.
