Janet Elise Schoolcraft (Smith)

Janet Elise Schoolcraft (Smith) was born on August 12, 1972, in Paragould, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Alvin James Smith and Freda Jeanette Smith.

She departed this life in Kennett, Missouri, on May 15, 2024. She was 51 years old.

Janet spent many years caring for the elderly through home health services, where she made many impacts on family's lives. She had the best sense of humor, could make anyone laughs and enjoyed doing so.

The greatest loves of her life was her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by one son: Michael (CeiJai) Schoolcraft  of Caruthersville, MO; one daughter: Megan (Cori) Schoolcraft of Paragould, AR; two granddaughters: Ryleigh and Annemarie; two grandsons: Layne and Aeryn; one sister: Melanie Smith; and many nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers - David Floyd, Andy Smith, Steve Floyd, and three sisters - Sharon Upchurch, Becky Floyd, and Patsy Floyd.
