James R. Ford was born June 9, 1942 in Holland, Missouri. He was the son of the late Clarence Ford and Juanita Taylor Ford.
He departed this life in New Madrid, Missouri on November 2, 2018. He was 76 years old.
James worked at Wright Home Furniture, Broadway Music and Woody's Lounge.
James proudly served his country in the United States Army. During his service he received the National Defense Service Award, Good Conduct Medal and Driver Badge with a Bar.

-Damon Forrest - Greenbrier, Arkansas
1 daughter - Dana LaRue - Conway, Arkansas

6 grandchildren - Blake and Cole LaRue, Slayde, Ryder, Ava Belle and Jemma Ford

He was preceded in death by a brother - Clifford Ford. Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 6 at 1:00 PM in the H.S. Smith Chapel with Rev. Kenny Lee officiating. Interment was in Maple Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Roy Borrows, Lefty Malin, Morgan Overby, Rex Moore, Darrel Taylor, and Eddie Cowles.
