Hope Loraine Franks, 65, of Caruthersville died Thursday, July 21st, 2022, at her home. Hope was born on February 11, 1957, in Hayti, Missouri to Frances Ruth Phelps Hawks and Troy & Ruby Russom. Hope attended Caruthersville High School and Arkansas Northeastern Community College. She was a long-time employee of the United States Postal Service and owned her business, “Hope’s Get N Go”.
She is survived by her children: Charity (Chad) Hogue of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Faith Babcock of Caruthersville, Missouri, and Johnny (Kelly) Jean of Caruthersville, Missouri; six grandchildren: Allison (Luke) Horrell, Kaitlyn Babcock, Dylan Babcock, Hunter Vaughn, Hannah Vaughn and Jayce Jean; two brothers: Jerry Phelps of Ridgely, Tennessee and Randy Carter of Eldon, Missouri; and one sister: Carolyn Brunelle of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She also leaves behind the loving father of her children, Herman Franks of Caruthersville and many relatives.
Lastly, she leaves her fur babies, “Bubs” and “Trump” who she loved with all of her heart. She is preceded in death by her parents Frances Ruth Phelps Hawks and Ruby Russom, her companion of 20 years
