Gloria Hatley Obituary
Gloria Hatley was born April 3, 1948 in Houston, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Barbara Davis-Hassen and the late James Edward Howell.
She departed this life in Caruthersville, MO on December 14, 2018. She was 70 years old.
In the early 1980's she was united in marriage to the late James Hatley. He preceded her in death in November of 1997.
Gloria was employed as a LPN for 30 years for Caruthersville Nursing Center and Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems until her retirement. Her main focus in life was to see that her children as well as grandchildren were well taken care of.
She leaves to cherish her memories: 2 daughters: Stacy Ball Roedel (Brian) - Bay, AR, Barbie Gobea Isable (Kwan) - Caruthersville, MO, 1 brother - Fred Haynes - St. Louis, MO, step-father - Gilbert Hassen - St. Louis, MO, 7 grandchildren - Kalie Roedel Griffin and Brittany Roedel - Bay, AR, Courtney, Kwan and Kaleb Isable, Julio and Piper Gobea - all of Caruthersville, MO and her only nephew - Alex Hassen - St. Louis, MO, other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Julio Gobea, and her grandmother.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 17 at 2:00 p.m. in the H.S. Smith Chapel. Interment in Little Prairie Cemetery.
