Glenda Marie (Henson) Linsman

Glenda Marie Linsman was born in Hayti, Missouri, on February 28, 1950. She was the daughter of Herbert Hoover (Pete) Henson and Margaret Marie Sawyer Henson.

She departed this life in Caruthersville, Missouri, on February 18, 2024. She was 73 years old.

Glenda was united in marriage on August 13, 1982, in Caruthersville, Missouri, to Johnie Marvin Linsman, Jr.

Glenda was known for having a great sense of humor. If she was around, there was going to be laughter involved. She lived for times with her family. At holidays, she was in charge of making the dressing. She also made a fresh apple cake that everyone loved.

She is survived by her father: Pete Henson of Kennett, MO; her husband: Johnie Linsman of Jonesboro, AR; three children: Paige Odom of Caruthersville, MO, Trey Linsman (Leslie) of Jonesboro, AR, & Tina Rushing (Terry) of Caruthersville, MO; two brothers: Bubby Henson (Karen) of Caruthersville, MO, & Glenn Henson (Stacy) of Dexter, KY; seven grandchildren: Kaitlyn Bracken, Chandler Trowbridge, Tristen Hill, Cordie Johnson, Bailey Linsman, Sarah Ervin, & Collin Rushing; four great grandchildren; three very special friends: Sharon Russell, Vicki Haddon, & Tonya Peel; and other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, in the H.S. Smith Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Brother Jim Pilcher officiating. Interment to follow in Maple Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m.
