Franklin Delano Linsman was born January 11, 1933, in Micola, Missouri. He was the son of Guy Linsman and Aussie Foster Linsman Fox.
He departed this life in Caruthersville, Missouri, on June 17, 2025. He was 92 years old.
On January 10, 1951, in Piggott, Arkansas, Frank was united in marriage to Norma Walker Linsman. They celebrated 64 wonderful years of marriage before she preceded him in death.
Frank proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, where he rose to the rank of Master Sergeant. He was involved in teletype communications and served all around the world before receiving his honorable discharge at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska. He then returned to Caruthersville and began working for the local telephone company.
Franklin was a dedicated member of the Caruthersville Lions Club. He never missed a weekly meeting and was instrumental in the development of Monday bingo where he worked faithfully for many years. During his time as a member he held multiple offices and received a number of awards and accommodations.
Frank was devoted to his family above all and taught them many things, among which include the value of hard work and perseverance, loyalty to family, to always find the humor in life and live life to its fullest.
He is survived by one son - Tony Linsman and his wife Paula.

6 grandchildren – Justin LInsman, Amy Irions, Ellen Cartee, Trina Swanson, Cory Cagle, and Jonathan Haddon
15 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a sister – Jewel Pierce, a brother – Charles Linsman, and son-in-law – Kim Cagle.
Services will be Thursday, June 19, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the H.S Smith Chapel with Rev. Kenny Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Little Prairie Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m.
