Frances Geraldine Stevens was born June 10, 1930 in Gurdon, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Herman J. Rickett and Ina Casteel Rickett.
She departed this life on May 20, 2018 at Southgate Living Center in Caruthersville, Missouri. She was 87 years old.
She was united in marriage to Robert O. (Red) Stevens. He preceded her in death.
Geraldine had many hobbies-she enjoyed cooking, sewing crocheting, and canning fresh veggies out of her garden.
She worked at the Assembly of God daycare for many years. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survived by - 1 son - Dennis R. Stevens (Tina) - Caruthersville, Missouri
2 daughters - Joyce DeRousse (Michael) - Amite, Louisiana
Sherry Wilson - Caruthersville, Missouri
1 sister - Linda C. McIntosh - Caruthersville, Missouri
8 grandchildren - Christy Rodrigue - Laplace, Louisiana
Kevin Dodson - Dyersburg, Tennessee
Carrie Taylor - Amite, Louisiana
Beverly Peevyhouse (Corey) - Newbern, Tennessee
Christopher Gibbens (Patricia) - Caruthersville, Missouri

Leneatha Meador (Travis) - Kennett, Missouri
22 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents (Herman and Ina Rickett), her husband (Robert Stevens), and 2 brothers (Charlie T. Rickett and Danny R. Rickett)
Funeral services were held May 23 at the Caruthersville Assembly of God Church with Pastor Shawn Harding.
Pall bearers: Ethan Rudd, Travis Meador, Justin McLemore, Grayson Mattox, Alex Rudd, Corey Peevyhouse.
