Frances Linsman Obituary
Frances M. Linsman was born February 17, 1928 in Selmer, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Carl Bonnie Sweat and Dorothy Studdard Sweat.
She departed this life in Covington, Tennessee on January 15, 2020. She was 91 years old.
Frances was united in marriage to Mr. Johnie M. Linsman, Sr. in Piggott, Arkansas in 1947. He preceded her in death.
Frances worked as a fitter at Brown Shoe Company for many years.
She loved gardening and then cooking with the things from the garden. She was known as a lady that always had a clean house. She loved spending time with her family which included her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was a member of the Cottonwood Baptist Church and also attended the Temple Baptist Church.
Survived by - her son - Johnie Linsman, Jr. (Glenda) - Jonesboro, AR
2 grandchildren - Tina Rushing (Terry)
4 great grandchildren - Sara Ervin, Collin Rushing, Bailey Linsman, Currie Gray
2 great great grandchildren - Bryson Rushing, Emersyn Ervin

She was preceded in death by her parents - Carl and Dorothy Sweat, her step-father, Cloise Abbott, her husband - Johnie Linsman, Sr., 3 brothers, and a grandson - Jason Pounds.
Funeral services were held January 19 at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Jim Pilcher officiating. Interment in Maple Cemetery.
Pall bearers: Bubby Henson, Terry Rushing, Collin Rushing, Kolby Ervin, Trey Linsman, Larry Pounds.
H.S. Smith Funeral Home in charge of services.
