Donald Van Johnson was born September 4, 1944, in Memphis, TN. He was the son of Robert F. Johnson and Jane McClanahan
He departed this life in Memphis, TN, on April 30, 2021. He was 76 years old.
Donald worked as a truck driver for Roadway Express for over 30 years.
Donald graduated from Caruthersville High School. He was always proud of his hometown, Caruthersville, but left as a young man to begin working in the trucking industry. He was a good provider for his family, whom he loved deeply.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Frank Johnson and Kim Johnson
Graveside services were held on Thursday, May 6, 2021, at 1:00 PM at the Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville, Missouri, with Rev. Kenny Lee officiating. H. S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of the services.
He departed this life in Memphis, TN, on April 30, 2021. He was 76 years old.
Donald worked as a truck driver for Roadway Express for over 30 years.
