Donald Ray Garner was born August 7, 1947 in Caruthersville, Missouri. He was the son of Archie Garner and Lois Lucille Brodie Garner.
He departed this life in Caruthersville, Missouri on December 28, 2019. He was 72 years old.
Donald was a graduate of Caruthersville High School. After high school he joined and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He served during the Vietnam War with the 490th Transportation Company. He received his honorable discharge at Fort Eustis, Virginia. After leaving the service, he became a truck driver.
He was married to Judy Loyd, the mother of his three children.
He was an avid bass fisherman and absolutely loved the St. Louis Cardinals.
Survived by - 1 daughter - Donna Harmon (Ronnie) - Bowling Green, MO
2 sons - Donald Garner, Jr. - Omaha, NE
6 grandchildren- Jonathan Hickson, Dusty Hickson, Jessica Garner, Brianna Garner, Dakota Garner, Morgan Lewis
8 great grandchildren
