Deion Bennett

Deion Bennett passed away at the age of 24 on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at his home in Dyersburg, TN. He was raised and attended schools in Caruthersville Missouri and later moved to the Dyersburg, Tennessee area. Deion was an avid online gamer who inspired to compete in tournaments at a national level and had hoped to establish his own YouTube and Twitch gaming channels in the future. He was kindhearted, funny and had an enormous sized heart. Though he left this world far too soon, he left this world a better place.

He is survived by his mother, Florene Jennings; his sister, Demetria Bennett; his brothers, DeVante Bennett and Damien Bennett; his maternal grandmother, Gladys Jennings; his uncles, Joseph Atkinson, Leroy Jennings, Darryl Jennings and Tony Jennings; his aunts and uncles-in-law, Corintha Jones along with her husband, Marvin Jones and Felicia Pollard; his cousins, Mitchell Jones, Lamarr Jones, Darius Jones, Malik Jones, Bianca Atkinson, Asia Frye, Shamya Jennings, Diamond Jennings and Tony Jennings, Jr., his nephews Cameron Bennett and Elijah Bennett and his niece, Aubriella Bennett. Deion was also preceded in death by his aunts, Rita Frye and Brenda Atkinson.

The family, in lieu of a funeral, honored Deion’s wishes and held a public memorial via Zoom on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 1:00 pm.
