David Wayne Horner was born April 23, 1967, in Caruthersville, Missouri. He was the son of Russell Horner and Shirley Church Horner.
He departed this life on June 10, 2022, in Caruthersville, Missouri. He was 55 years old.
David was united in marriage to Carol McLemore in Caruthersville on April 26, 2014.
He worked as the water treatment supervisor for Consolidated Water.
David was a man that loved enjoying life. He was always outside mowing the yard or firing up the grill. He enjoyed lots of different types of music from country to classic rock to blues especially B.B. King.
He is survived by his wife: Carol Horner of Caruthersville, MO; two children: Ronnie Keller of Caruthersville, MO, and Kimberly Bogan (Jeffery) of Caruthersville, MO; four brothers: Michael Horner, Russell Horner, Brad Horner and Joe Horner – all of Caruthersville, MO; his mother-in-law: Anna McLemore of Caruthersville, MO; four grandchildren: Marquan Bogan, Taliah Bogan, Kenyon Bogan, and Ariayah Bogan; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters - Debbie Russom and Pam Horner.
Funeral services were held at H.S. Smith chapel with Brother Richard Lee officiating. Interment in Maple Cemetery.
