David Cowles Obituary
David Edward (Eddie) Cowles was born in Dyersburg, Tennessee on September 22, 1953. He departed this life on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, in Kennett, Missouri at the age of 68. He was the son of the late Geraldine Cook of Caruthersville, Missouri, and Charles Edward Cowles, Sr., of Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Eddie attended the Caruthersville Schools, graduating in the High School Class of 1971.
He is survived by his two daughters: Amy Watson of Kennett, Missouri, & Lindsey King of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two grandchildren: Courtlynn Lynn & Heidi James King; two brothers: Bobby Cowles of Knoxville, Tennessee, & Stoney Cook of Hornersville, Missouri; and a number of other relatives and many friends.
Eddie was preceded in death by his sister: Gerry Fenton; brother: Charles Cowles, Jr.; and his stepfather: K. H. Cook.
A Memorial Service was held at the H. S. Smith Chapel in Caruthersville, Missouri, on March 5th, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. H. S. Smith Funeral Home in charge of the services.
