Dr. Charles Howard Ray departed this life at The Willows in Oakmont, Pennsylvania on December 19, 2025, at the age of 95.
He was born November 2, 1930, in Sikeston, Missouri to the late Lawrence and Mary Stuppy Ray. He was a retired minister having pastored churches in Braddock and Wilmerding, Pennsylvania. He was pastor of the First Baptist Church in Caruthersville, Missouri, from 1960-1968.
He was married to Betty Rayburn Ray who preceded him in death.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Billie Fair & Betty Jones and a son, David Howard Ray.
Survivors include two daughters: Carol Erickson of Porterville, California, and Nancy Ray of Caruthersville, Missouri; and two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Monday, December 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville, Missouri.
