Charles Hollywood Obituary

Charles Lazone Gordon Hollywood was born July 18, 1976, in East St. Louis, Illinois. He closed his eyes for the last time on earth on February 4, 2023, in Hayti, Missouri. He was the son of Lessie Peete and Charles Gordon, Jr. and his godfather was Brooker T. Kinnon.

Charles leaves many here to always remember his legacy and wonderful memories.

His father - Charles Gordon, Jr., (Caruthersville, MO); his children - Corwinthony Williams (Springfield, MO), Ceirra Lee (Steele, MO), Mica Reeves (Cape Girardeau, MO); his siblings - James Hollywood (St. Louis, MO), Vivian Hollywood (Caruthersville, MO), Twiggs Hollywood (Hayti, MO), Angelo Gordon (Steele, MO), Rickey Hollywood (Blytheville, AR), Celeste Lockett and her husband, Alindez (Blytheville, AR), Jalisa Ford (Caruthersville, MO), and Diquane Gordon (Caruthersville, MO); his girlfriend, Georgetta Woods (Hayti, MO); three special friends - Roni King, Tieisha Lee, and Ashely Reeves; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother - Lessie Peete, and his grandparents - Simon Peete, Maggie Parchell, and Lula Mae Gordon; and his uncle - Sammie Peete.

Funeral services are being held on Thursday, February 9th, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Divine Holiness Church in Caruthersville, Missouri, with Pastor Jamie Jones and Reverend Melvin Maclin officiating. Interment to follow in Morgan Ridge Cemetery.
