Brenda Finley Obituary
Brenda Joyce Finley was born in Gideon, Missouri on October 7, 1947. She was the daughter of Joe Hill and Addie Pearl Gribble Hill.
She departed this life in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, on December 24, 2022. She was 75 years old.
Brenda worked for Wal Mart for years. She retired as a sales associate.
Brenda enjoyed cooking for all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was known for her pumpkin bread and enchilada casserole. She also enjoyed going for walks, reading, and playing computer games. When the grandchildren were younger, she would make some of their clothes.
She is survived by five children: Stephen Schulte (Marilyn), Shonda Perry (Jason), B. J. Finley, Starla Chandler (Charles), & Serena Davis; 12 grandchildren: Paige Coppedge, Collin Schulte, Courtney Staton, Elizabeth Perry, Bethany Finley, Mackenzie Finley, Chayton Finley, Frank Parry V, Jacob Christian, Brenda Christian, Paris Chandler, & Isiah Davis; 10 great grandchildren; six brothers; five sisters; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, William Hill, and her husband, Bobby Joe Finley.
Funeral services held Friday, Dec. 30, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. in the H.S. Smith Chapel with Brother Jim Pilcher officiating.
