Billy Phelps Obituary
Billy Edward Phelps was born April 29, 1952 in Caruthersville, Missouri. He was the son of J.N. "Jiggs" Phelps and Frances Ruth Gibson Phelps.
He departed this life in Hayti, Missouri on April 19, 2020. He was 67 years old.
Billy graduated from Caruthersville High School.
He worked in the construction business for a long time. He enjoyed building things. He also loved working on old cars and collecting them and other types of antiques.
Survived by - 3 daughters - Chastity Phelps - Wichita Falls, Texas

-Billie Jean Middleton - Caruthersville, Missouri
His girlfriend - Jan McCrillis - Caruthersville, Missouri
3 sisters - Ruth Ann Gunter - Caruthersville, Missouri
-Hope Franks - Caruthersville, Missouri
– Carolyn Brunelle - Poplar Bluff, Missouri
1 brother – Jerry Phelps – Ridgely, Tennessee
3 grandchildren - Sierra Toombs, Jared Middleton, Summer Pollard
2 great grandchildren - Kinsley and Laney Toombs

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister - Darla Tipton
Graveside services were held April 23 in Maple Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Lee officiating.
H.S. Smith Funeral Home in charge of services.
