Betty Blair Obituary
Betty Russell Blair was born in Braggadocio, Missouri, on March 17, 1926.
She departed this life at the Southgate Living Center in Caruthersville, Missouri, on September 14, 2021, at the age of 95.
She was the daughter of the late Robert D. Keirsey & Bertha Dye Keirsey.
Betty attended the Braggadocio schools, graduating from Braggadocio High School.
On September 7, 1943, she was united in marriage to Mr. Arlon Russell. He preceded her in death on February 26, 1965.
On April 14, 1972, she was united in marriage to Mr. Lee Blair. He preceded her in death in 1990.
She loved her family and enjoyed cooking & yard work.
Betty was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by one son: Paul Russell & his wife, Sharon, of Caruthersville; three granddaughters: Robin Sadler & her husband, Hunter, of Prattville, Alabama, Kellye Jo Faulkner & her husband, Kevin, of Caruthersville, and Kara Lee Bethune & her husband, Lee, of Caruthersville; five great grandchildren: Kevin Sadler, Peyton Faulkner, Mallory Faulkner, Kassidy Bethune & Kady Bethune; and a number of other relatives and many friends.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Robert Michael Russell, on October 20, 1970, along with four siblings: Leonard Keirsey, Flora Bell Latimer, Junian Keirsey & Una Wilbur Jewell.
The family would like to specially thank Southgate Living Center, VNA Hospice, and Dr. Jim Bernard.
Graveside memorial services were held Sept. 20, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in Little Prairie Cemetery with Brother Dave Lewelling officiating.
